Few things taste as good as they smell, but this cake — standing tall and raisin studded, caramelized from its time in the oven — certainly does. Eli calls it a Tea Ring, but it bears a strong resemblance to that Sunday morning coffee cake of childhood. One slice never seemed like enough, and next Sunday was a long way away.
